【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesfourtechniquesforpreparingpoorlywater-solubleorganiccompoundsandintroducingthemintotestvesselsforasub-sequenttestonbiodegradabilityinanaqueousme-diumusingstandardmethods.Thetestcompoundsconcernedarenotsufficientlysolubleinwatertoperformthebiodegradabilitytestsinthenormalman-ner,asdescribedintherespectivetestmethodsindi-catedinclause2.Thepreparationtechniquesareasfollows:—directaddition(clause3):thistechniqueisre-strictedtonon-volatiletestcompoundsifinertsupportsorsolventsareused;—ultrasonicdispersion(clause4):thistechniquemaybeappliedtonon-volatileliquidandsolidcompounds;—adsorptiononaninertsupport(clause5);—dispersionsoremulsionswithanemulsifyingagent(clause6).Thesubsequenttestsonbiodegradabilityareprimarilymethodsusingtheanalysisofthereleasedcarbondioxide(seeISO9439)andthedeterminationoftheoxygenconsumption(seeISO9408).ThisInter-nationalStandarddoesnotdescribethetestmethods;itisrestrictedtodescribingthetechniquesforintro-ducingthetestsubstancesintothetestmediumandtokeeptheminadispersedstate.Thesetechniquesareimplementedwhileobservingtheexperimentalconditionsdescribedinthestandardizedmethodsforevaluatingbiodegradability.ItshouldbenotedthatvolatilechemicalsmaynotbetestedbythecarbondioxidemethodspecifiedinISO9439.
