【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstandardfittinggeometriesformoldedshort-patternplasticfittingsintendedforuseindrain,waste,andventapplications.1.2Fittingsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaredesignedforusewithoutside-diametercontrolledpipe.Thebodyinsidediametercanvarysignificantlyasthewallthicknessandoutsidediametervaries,andtherefore,isnotsuitableforuseasafittingsocket.1.3FittingsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationshallbetestedinaccordancewiththeapplicablerequirementsofSpecificationsD2661orD2665.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
