【摘要】:Thispracticeisforusebyspecifiers,regulatoryagencies,ownersandinspectionorganizationsthatareinvolvedintherehabilitationofpressuremainsandconduits,andinparticularpotablewaterlinesinthediameterrangeof4to12inches.ThesupplieroftheFIPLSliningsystemproductshouldbeconsultedfordesignandinstallationinformation.1.1Thispracticecoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforinstallationofasemi-structuralpolyethylene(PE)andencapsulatedcementmortarformed-in-placeliningsystem(FIPLS)intendedfortherehabilitationofwaterpipelinesfrom4in.to12in.ThisrenewalprocessinvolvesinstallingafoldedPElinerwithmultiplehooksontheoutsidefaceintoanexistingwaterpipelinethenpumpingcementmortarintotheannularspaceandprogressivelyreformingthelineragainsttheoriginalpipewallbymeansofforcingareformingdevicethroughthepipeline.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Particularattentionisdrawntothosesafetyregulationsandrequirementsinvolvingenteringintoandworkinginconfinedspaces.1.4Thispracticeistobeusedwiththematerialspecifiedin4.2.1ofF2718theStandardSpecificationforPolyethylene(PE)andEncapsulatedCementMortarFormedinPlaceLiningSystem(FIPLS)fortheRehabilitationofWaterPipelines.
