【摘要】:Manufacturersandusersofadvancedceramicpowderswillfindthistestmethodusefulfordeterminingtheparticlesizedistributionofthesematerialsforproductspecification,qualitycontrol,andresearchanddevelopment.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheparticlesizedistributionofadvancedceramicpowdersspecificallysiliconnitrideandcarbides,intherangeof0.1to20x03BC;m,havingamedianparticlediameterfrom0.5to5.0x03BC;m.1.2Theproceduredescribedinthistestmethodmaybeappliedsuccessfullytootherceramicpowdersinthisgeneralsizerange,providedthatappropriatedispersionproceduresaredeveloped.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertodeterminetheapplicabilityofthistestmethodtoothermaterials.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
